The Maison Labastide is located on the banks of the Tarn in the heart of the Occitanie region and one of the oldest French vineyards created in the 1st century BC by the Romans. The House is located at the foot of a medieval bastide: Labastide-de-Levis. It is rooted in a region rich in history and warm people. Created in 1949, the Labastide winery has become a major and historic player in the Gaillac vineyards. It is the oldest winery in the Tarn. Its importance and dynamism make it a driving force for the Gaillac appellation and for the other surrounding vineyards in Occitania. Since its creation, its cooperative winegrowers have defended the production of quality wines and have implemented an increasingly innovative approach.
